Final orders are being published in phases
Starting July 24, 2026, the LTB began posting final orders issued between January and May 2026 in Ontario's Open Data Catalogue. Orders covered by a confidentiality direction are excluded.
Tribunals Ontario says historical orders dating back to 2021 will be added incrementally, while current orders will be posted monthly. Some earlier LTB decisions also remain available through CanLII.
Why this matters in an LTB file
Greater access can make it easier to research how adjudicators have addressed recurring factual and procedural issues. An earlier LTB order may be informative, but it does not replace the Residential Tenancies Act, binding court authority or the evidence in the current proceeding.
