Tools · Provincial nominee programs

Provincial points calculators.

Choose a province and stream to estimate your score on that program's published grid.

Each provincial and territorial nominee program sets its own rules, and some score candidates on a published grid. These calculators apply the official grids so you can estimate where you stand. Each page names the official source and the date its rules were checked (all checked in October 2026). The estimates are for planning, not eligibility decisions.

Express Entry

A provincial nomination through the Express Entry route adds 600 points to a candidate's Comprehensive Ranking System score, so these two tools are the ones to use first if you also qualify for a federal program.

Provincial skilled worker and employer streams

Business and entrepreneur streams

Federal entrepreneur programs are paused or closed, so most business immigration to Canada now runs through provincial streams. Their scoring grids differ widely, and none replaces the investment, net-worth and business requirements of the stream.

Programs without a points calculator here

Not every program publishes a scoring grid that a candidate can calculate. For Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island and the other streams not listed above, use the PNP finder to see which programs fit your situation, and the Provincial Nominee Programs guide and the individual program guides for the rules.

Estimates only. These tools give general information. They do not confirm eligibility or guarantee an invitation, nomination, work permit or permanent residence. Provinces change their rules and intake often, so verify the official rules in force on the day you submit.

Official sources

Each calculator lists the provincial source for its own grid.
