SINP uses both employment-led and human-capital routes.
The program includes international worker categories, pathways for people already working or studying in Saskatchewan and targeted sector streams. Availability and intake restrictions are separate from the 60-point assessment minimum.

Saskatchewan Experience
Existing Work Permit and Student categories retain eligible workers and graduates with provincial employment.
Targeted talent
Agriculture, Health, Innovation and Tech pathways apply occupation and employer-specific rules.
Business closure
Entrepreneur, International Graduate Entrepreneur and Farm Owner/Operator accept no new EOIs or applications.
A score is useful only after choosing an available pathway.

Sixty-point minimum
International Skilled Worker candidates need at least 60 of 110. Reaching 60 does not open a closed intake or override occupation, offer, licensing or settlement rules.
2025 job-offer change
The province returned certain no-job-offer Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand applications during the 2025 restructuring. Verify whether the intended category is currently accepting the candidate profile.
2026 graduate allocation
Saskatchewan reserved places for eligible local post-secondary graduates with priority-sector offers in agriculture, healthcare, skilled trades, energy, mining/minerals, manufacturing or technology.
Closed business routes
All Entrepreneur, International Graduate Entrepreneur and Farm immigration pathways permanently closed March 27, 2025; no new EOIs or invitations are issued.

The calculator adds points, but the official pathway decides whether the claimed occupation, work, offer and licence are acceptable. Always select NOC 2021 from duties.
Related experience
Work points must be in the occupation claimed for the application or a sufficiently related skilled occupation under the official criteria.
Job Approval Letter
Employment-led pathways normally require the employer's approved position; a private offer letter alone is not the provincial approval.
Occupation restrictions
SINP publishes excluded occupations and professional-status requirements for Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand.
Regulated work
Provide proof of eligibility for Saskatchewan licensure when the occupation requires it; immigration points do not grant a licence.
