The July 16 results
The BC Provincial Nominee Program issued 569 Skills Immigration invitations on July 16, 2026. Of these, 223 invitations went to candidates selected through a high-wage, high-economic-impact threshold, while 346 invitations went to candidates with a minimum registration score of 132.
The size of the round exceeded the earlier broad high-economic-impact rounds reported by the province in 2026.
Two different selection routes
- Wage-based selection: at least $58 per hour and $115,000 annually, with a job offer in an eligible TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3 occupation.
- Points-based selection: a minimum registration score of 132.
What the draw does—and does not—show
A past threshold is not a promise about the next round. British Columbia states that future invitations may use different factors. Candidates should keep employment, wage, status and registration information accurate and current.
An invitation permits the candidate to apply to the province. The nomination application must still establish eligibility and support every material claim with evidence.
