Four intake windows will run on September 14 and 15
The Government of Saskatchewan's current SINP statistics page, verified on September 7, lists the final 2026 capped-sector intake for September 14 and 15. Trucking and retail open September 14 at 9:30 a.m. CST, accommodation opens the same day at 1:30 p.m. CST, and food services opens September 15 at 1:30 p.m. CST.
The province does not display a publication date for this notice. September 7 is Ghasedak's publication and verification date; the intake dates, times and limits below are taken directly from the live official page.
The September limits total 550 positions
Saskatchewan says positions are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Each position requested through an Employer Position Assessment counts toward the applicable window limit, and the live figures are updated during the intake or when a limit is reached.
- Trucking: 150 positions on September 14 at 9:30 a.m. CST
- Retail: 175 positions on September 14 at 9:30 a.m. CST
- Accommodation: 50 positions on September 14 at 1:30 p.m. CST
- Food services: 175 positions on September 15 at 1:30 p.m. CST
The intake is limited to current workers with expiring permits
Capped sectors are limited to supporting current employees who have valid temporary resident status. For these windows, the candidate must have six months or less remaining on a valid work permit; applications for candidates with more than six months left will not be accepted.
The capped sectors are retail under NAICS 44–45, trucking under NAICS 48–49, and accommodation and food services under NAICS 72. Employers may prepare an EPA draft in OASIS before the window opens, but submission is possible only while the relevant window is open and space remains.
This is an intake notice, not a nomination draw
The September limits govern employer position submissions; they are not a published selection-round result and do not mean 550 applicants have been nominated. An approved position and a complete candidate application must still meet all SINP requirements.
Because Saskatchewan calls this the final capped-sector intake of 2026, spaces previously planned for later windows have been moved into September. Employers and workers should check the official table immediately before submitting because availability can change once a window opens.
