The tie-breaking rule was August 7, 2026 at 18:01:56 UTC. If more than one eligible candidate had a CRS score of 760, only those who submitted their Express Entry profile before that date and time were invited.
Why the cut-off is high in a PNP round
A provincial or territorial nomination adds 600 CRS points to an Express Entry profile. PNP-specific rounds therefore have much higher cut-offs than Canadian Experience Class or category-based rounds, and their scores should not be compared directly with those of other rounds. A candidate needed both a nomination linked to Express Entry and a ranking high enough within the group selected in this round.

This was not a general round. Candidates without a provincial nomination were not eligible for selection in round 435, whatever their CRS score.
