Official result of round #435
IRCC held a Provincial Nominee Program-specific Express Entry round on August 17, 2026 at 12:33:42 UTC. The department issued 442 invitations to apply for permanent residence, and the CRS score of the lowest-ranked candidate invited was 760.
The tie-breaking rule was August 7, 2026 at 18:01:56 UTC. If more than one eligible candidate had a CRS score of 760, only candidates who submitted their Express Entry profile before that date and time were invited.
Why the CRS cut-off is high in a PNP round
A provincial or territorial nomination gives an Express Entry candidate 600 additional CRS points. For that reason, PNP-specific rounds normally have much higher cut-offs than Canadian Experience Class or category-based rounds.
The published score should not be compared directly with a non-PNP cut-off. A candidate needed both a qualifying provincial nomination linked to Express Entry and a ranking high enough within the PNP group selected in this round.
What invited candidates should do next
- Open the invitation in the IRCC account and confirm the program and deadline shown in the personalized document checklist.
- Confirm that the provincial nomination remains valid and that the facts supporting it have not changed.
- Review the Express Entry profile for accuracy before submitting the permanent-residence application.
- Collect police certificates, medical information, civil-status documents, proof of work history and any province-specific evidence early.
- Do not let a work or study permit expire while preparing the PR application; temporary status and permanent residence are separate processes.
For candidates who were not invited
This was not a general round. Candidates without a provincial nomination were not eligible for selection in round #435, regardless of their CRS score.
A past invitation count or cut-off does not predict the next round. Candidates should keep language results, passport details, work history and provincial-program information current and assess whether a federal category or provincial pathway fits their circumstances.
