Final 2026 draw selects 105 candidates
The Northwest Territories Nominee Program has published the completed result of its September 25, 2026 Employer-Driven Stream Expression of Interest draw. The territory reviewed a pool of 197 profiles and issued 105 invitations to employers of the highest-ranking candidates to submit full applications.
The published EOI score range was 317 to 492. This is a territorial ranking score under the NWT Employer-Driven system, not a federal Express Entry CRS score.
How the 105 invitations were distributed
The government's location figures add to 104 rather than 105. Ghasedak has reproduced the official figures without assigning the remaining invitation to a location that the source does not state.
- 26 invitations were connected to NWT Express Entry profiles.
- 21 invitations were issued in the Skilled Worker category.
- 58 invitations were issued in Entry Level/Semi-Skilled Occupations.
- 96 selected profiles were in Yellowknife and 8 were in communities outside Yellowknife.
An invitation is not a nomination
The Employer-Driven EOI is a ranking step, not a complete nominee application. Only employers connected to selected profiles may submit a full application, and both the employer and the prospective nominee must still meet all program requirements.
Profiles that were not selected remain in the pool for up to 12 months from their original submission date. Applicants must keep their information accurate; the NWT instructs people who need to make changes to withdraw the existing profile and submit a new one.
Next NWT draw expected in early 2027
The NWT says the next Employer-Driven Stream EOI draw will be held in early 2027. The exact date is expected to be confirmed later in 2026. There is currently no deadline for submitting an EOI profile, but selection depends on ranking, program priorities and the annual nomination allocation.
