Monthly totals for August and September
The Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) publishes the number of candidates it selects from the expression of interest (EOI) pool each month. Its table, last updated October 23, 2026, shows:

August is the highest monthly total in the table so far this year. October 2026 is listed as "TBD".
Who was selected
The province says candidates were selected mainly from health care occupations, skilled trades, and other priority occupations tied to current labour market needs. It does not publish individual draw dates, a split by stream, or a minimum score, so none is given here.
Only selected candidates are contacted directly. Being in the EOI pool does not mean a candidate will be selected.
