The October 29 batch contains 85 invitations

The province's Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism added an October 29, 2026 round to its official invitations-to-apply table. It records 85 invitations: 75 under the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and 10 under the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).

The previous round, on October 23, 2026, had 120 invitations, all under the NLPNP. The October 9 and October 16 rounds each included 1 AIP invitation; this round has 10.

No score or stream split was published

The official update gives no minimum expression of interest (EOI) score, occupation list, employer category or breakdown among NLPNP streams. Those details should not be inferred from earlier rounds. Applicants should rely on their own invitation and online account for the stream and the submission instructions that apply to them.

An invitation is not yet a nomination or permanent residence

An invitation lets a selected candidate submit a complete provincial application. The applicant must still meet every requirement of the NLPNP category or the Atlantic Immigration Program concerned and provide the requested documents within the province's deadline. A provincial nomination or endorsement is a separate decision, and permanent residence remains subject to IRCC's federal requirements.
