Five rounds between September 10 and October 2
Immigration New Brunswick's official invitation and selection results now list five rounds held between September 10 and October 2, 2026. Each round had an expression of interest cut-off (11:59 pm Atlantic time) and a published count. The province publishes the number of invitations for its provincial nominee streams and the number of applications selected for processing under the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).
| Date of draw | Stream and pathways | Cut-off | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| September 10, 2026 | Atlantic Immigration Program | September 9, 2026 | 60 applications selected |
| September 11, 2026 | Strategic Initiative: Francophone Workers in New Brunswick; New Brunswick Francophone Priorities | September 8, 2026 | 251 invitations |
| September 15 to 18, 2026 | New Brunswick Skilled Worker stream: New Brunswick Graduates; New Brunswick Experience | September 13, 2026 | 197 invitations |
| September 17, 2026 | New Brunswick Express Entry stream: Employment in New Brunswick | September 13, 2026 | 102 invitations |
| September 25 and October 2, 2026 | Atlantic Immigration Program | September 24 and October 1, 2026 | 63 applications selected |
In total, the three provincial nominee rounds issued 550 invitations, and the two AIP rounds selected 123 applications for processing.
Which sectors were selected
For every round except the Skilled Worker stream, the province lists seven occupational categories: construction; education, social and community services; manufacturing; other trades; professional and IT; sales and services; and transportation. The Skilled Worker round of September 15 to 18 lists the same categories without transportation.
The province did not publish a minimum score for any of these rounds, and no occupation list beyond the sector names. Candidates should rely on the details in their own invitation or selection notice rather than inferring a threshold from the published counts.
An invitation is not yet a nomination or permanent residence
An invitation lets a candidate submit a complete application to the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program within the province's deadline; an AIP selection means the province will process the application for endorsement. The applicant must still meet every requirement of the stream and pathway concerned. A provincial nomination or endorsement is a separate decision, and permanent residence remains subject to IRCC's federal admissibility and application requirements.
