Three selections produced 1,304 Letters of Advice to Apply
- Completed post-secondary study in Manitoba (Skilled Worker in Manitoba): 734 invitations; the lowest-ranked invited profile had 816 points. Top-scoring profiles declaring that the applicant or their spouse completed post-secondary education in Manitoba were considered.
- Overall top scoring (Skilled Worker in Manitoba): 513 invitations; the lowest-ranked invited profile had 846 points. All eligible Skilled Worker in Manitoba profiles were considered.
- Strategic recruitment initiatives (Skilled Worker Stream): 57 invitations: Employer Services 21, Ethnocultural Communities 2, Francophone Community 16, Regional Communities 15 and the temporary-public-policy initiative 3.
Two published minimum scores
Manitoba published a minimum ranking score of 846 for the overall top-scoring selection and 816 for the completed-post-secondary-study selection. It did not publish a minimum score for the strategic-recruitment selection.
Of the 1,304 invitations, 353 went to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code. That does not mean every invitation was issued through Express Entry.
Candidates selected under the Manitoba-study selection must be able to document that they or their spouse completed a post-secondary program in Manitoba (diploma and transcript), as stated in the draw's notes.
An invitation is not yet a provincial nomination
A Letter of Advice to Apply lets the selected candidate submit a complete MPNP application. The candidate must still meet the requirements of the pathway, document the information in the expression of interest (EOI) and follow the deadline and instructions in their account.
A provincial nomination and federal permanent residence are separate decisions. Applicants linked to Express Entry must also keep their federal profile accurate and eligible.
