Round #442 was limited to Provincial Nominee Program candidates

IRCC held Express Entry round #442 on September 14, 2026 at 10:26:01 UTC. It issued 576 invitations to candidates eligible under the Provincial Nominee Program. The CRS score of the lowest-ranked invited candidate was 734.

The published tie-breaking rule was August 29, 2026 at 21:39:50 UTC. If more than one eligible candidate had the cut-off score, IRCC ranked them using the date and time their Express Entry profiles were submitted.

The CRS cut-off applies only to this completed round

A provincial nomination normally adds 600 CRS points, but a candidate still had to remain eligible in Express Entry and be part of the PNP grouping used for this round. A CRS score of 734 without an eligible nomination would not have qualified someone for this PNP-specific selection.

The invitation count and cut-off are results of round #442, not a forecast for the next draw. IRCC can change the program, category, number of invitations and resulting threshold from one round to another.

Invited candidates should verify their profile before applying

An invitation to apply is not permanent residence approval. Candidates should confirm that their nomination remains valid, review every answer in the Express Entry profile and submit the requested evidence within the deadline shown in their IRCC account.

Any change involving employment, family composition, language results, education or admissibility should be assessed before submission because the application must continue to support the points and eligibility on which the invitation was issued.
