The published tie-breaking rule was August 29, 2026 at 21:39:50 UTC. If more than one eligible candidate had the cut-off score, IRCC ranked them by the date and time their Express Entry profiles were submitted.
The cut-off applies only to this round
A provincial nomination adds 600 CRS points. A candidate still had to remain eligible in Express Entry and belong to the PNP group used for this round, so a score of 734 without an eligible nomination would not have qualified for this selection.
The number of invitations and the cut-off are results of round #442, not a forecast for the next round. IRCC can change the program, category, number of invitations and resulting cut-off from one round to the next.
Invited candidates should check their profile before applying
An ITA is not approval of permanent residence. Candidates have 60 days to submit a complete application. They should confirm that the nomination is still valid, review every answer in the Express Entry profile and upload the requested documents within the deadline shown in their IRCC account.
Any change in employment, family composition, language results, education or admissibility should be assessed before submission, because the application must continue to support the points and eligibility on which the invitation was issued.
