Round #448 was limited to provincial nominees
On October 13, 2026, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada issued 752 invitations to apply in a program-specific Express Entry round for candidates eligible under the Provincial Nominee Program. The Comprehensive Ranking System score of the lowest-ranked candidate invited was 772.
A CRS score of 772 by itself did not make a candidate eligible for this round. The candidate also had to be eligible under the Provincial Nominee Program grouping used for the round.
Tie-breaking rule
IRCC published a tie-breaking timestamp of July 15, 2026 at 13:57:33. If more than one eligible candidate had a CRS score of 772, the earlier Express Entry profile ranked ahead of a later profile at the same score.
The official data lists the round time as October 13, 2026 at 10:25:58 and the invitation period as October 13 to October 14, 2026. The data does not label a time zone for either timestamp, so none is added here.
What an invitation means
An invitation to apply allows the candidate to submit a permanent-residence application through Express Entry. It is not an approval. The applicant must still meet the requirements of the provincial nomination and the federal permanent-residence program and provide the required evidence within the deadline stated in the invitation.
