Three rounds issued 6,233 invitations

IRCC held three completed Express Entry invitation rounds between September 28 and October 1. The department issued 733 invitations in a Provincial Nominee Program round, 2,000 in a Canadian Experience Class round and 3,500 in a category-based round for trades occupations.

These are separate rounds with different eligibility rules. The published CRS cut-off in one round cannot be used as the threshold for another program or category.

Round #447 — trades occupations

On October 1, IRCC issued 3,500 invitations in Trades Occupations, 2026 — Version 3. The CRS score of the lowest-ranked candidate invited was 476. The tie-breaking rule was May 28, 2026 at 16:55:23 UTC.

Candidates had to meet the requirements of an Express Entry-managed program and the trades-occupation category. A CRS score of 476 alone did not create eligibility for this round.

Round #446 — Canadian Experience Class

On September 29, IRCC issued 2,000 invitations to candidates eligible under the Canadian Experience Class. The minimum CRS score was 518, with a tie-breaking rule of February 13, 2026 at 20:48:08 UTC.

The round was program-specific. Candidates also had to meet the Canadian Experience Class requirements and have an eligible profile in the Express Entry pool.

Round #445 — Provincial Nominee Program

On September 28, IRCC issued 733 invitations in a Provincial Nominee Program-specific round. The lowest-ranked invited candidate had a CRS score of 725. The tie-breaking rule was September 17, 2026 at 01:36:17 UTC.

PNP rounds include candidates who accepted an eligible provincial or territorial nomination. That nomination adds 600 CRS points, so this cut-off should not be compared directly with CEC or occupation-category rounds.

What invited candidates should do

  • Confirm the invitation and the program named in the IRCC account before relying on a public draw result.
  • Check the personal document checklist and the accuracy of every Express Entry profile answer before submitting the permanent-residence application.
  • Applicants normally have 60 days from the invitation date to submit a complete application.
  • A published draw does not guarantee an invitation in a later round and does not change the eligibility rules for the named program or category.
