Four targeted Skills Immigration selections were published
| Selection | Who it covered | Minimum score | Invitations |
|---|---|---|---|
| Care: Childcare | Early childhood educators only | 99 | 182 |
| Care: Health | All priority health care occupations | 76 | 143 |
| Care: Veterinary Care | All priority veterinary care occupations | 90 | fewer than 5 |
| Build: Construction Trades | All priority construction occupations | 94 | 104 |
For the veterinary care selection, the province lists an additional selection factor: candidates in NOC 32104 (animal health technologists and veterinary technicians) needed a valid professional designation.
The total cannot be given as one exact number
The province published exact counts for childcare, health and construction that add up to 429, but reported veterinary care only as fewer than five. This article therefore does not estimate the veterinary figure or state an exact overall total.
Each minimum score is a BC PNP registration score for the named selection. It is not a federal Express Entry CRS score, and a score from one occupational group cannot be compared with another group's.
An invitation starts the provincial application stage
Candidates also had to meet the occupation-specific selection factors and the requirements of the Skills Immigration stream. An invitation lets the selected registrant apply to the BC PNP. The applicant must still submit a complete application on time and prove the job offer, occupation, wage, work experience, status and all other applicable requirements.
